Our interpreting project management team is dedicated to helping fill your interpreting requests. The following are steps we take to assure we meet your needs:

  • Review and analyze client’s initial interpretation request
  • Select interpreter(s) based on their expertise with the language(s) and the subject matter involved
  • Provide interpreter’s resume and qualifications if requested
  • Determine any interpretation equipment needs and corresponding equipment configuration
  • Secure background materials from client for interpreter(s) to prepare for the assignment (e.g. agenda, summons and complaint, copy of patent, copy of speeches, presentation materials)
  • Clarify with client the specific glossary to be used for the event or proceeding
  • Establish any corresponding translation requirements translation requirements the client may have
  • Designate the lead interpreter, where a team of interpreters is involved
  • Prepare interpreter(s) for the assignment by reviewing interpreter Codes of Ethics regarding impartiality and confidentiality
  • Conduct ongoing follow up with interpreter(s) as needed during the course of the assignment
  • Debrief clients at the conclusion of the assignment
