  • selects the team of translators, editors and proofreaders based on their expertise with the language and subject matter involved
  • identifies any specific terminology or localization requirements and disperses the information to all persons involve to assure conformity
  • manages terminology and phraseology in order to standardize and ensure maximum consistency with respect to repetitive words, phrases and sentences
  • builds and maintains client-specific terminology databases
  • communicates with the client on ad hoc basis as questions arise regarding the translation project
  • monitors and tracks translation, editing and proofreading phases in order to keep the client apprised of the status of their translation project
  • ensures timely completion and delivery of the translation to client
